What do you store?
Your email, a SHA-1 hash of it, and the results of your scans. We never store passwords, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or breach contents.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. From Settings → Delete account, your profile, scans, and action plan are removed within 24 hours. No retention, no exports to third parties.
Is this a VPN?
No. A VPN hides your network traffic. DataGuardian shows where your personal information already lives on the open web and tells you how to remove it.
Is this antivirus?
No. Antivirus scans your device for malicious software. DataGuardian scans the public internet — breach corpora, people-search brokers, public profiles — for exposure of your identity.
Can you remove my data?
On the Free plan we give you the direct opt-out links and step-by-step instructions. On the Assisted Removals plan, our team submits the removal requests on your behalf and tracks them to completion.
